The IRS has to file the lien at the records office of the court house. A title search will find one, or you can do your own title search. The IRS will not give you any informaion, privacy issues.

You need to go to the county clerks office, The Microfilm and Records Management Division films real property records, probate, civil, and commissioners court minutes; manages and preserves the records for the county clerk's office; and provides an efficient retrieval service for the public. This is off the travis oounty web site at http://www.co.travis.tx.us/county_clerk/default.asp
