Local REI Clubs
Wanted to know if anyone used or uses any of these local clubs, iam in LA area and wanted some feedback on these.
Let me know if you have info about any on this site or maybe we can start a new one.

Your situation has been addressed many, many times on this site. Read, read, read. Scour the articles and forums.
Keep your credit clean. Get your degree. Find a facet of this industry that interests you. Then go for it!
You should start working now to repair it. Start bird-dogin as mentioned above to get some hands on. This way when the time comes for you to make your move you will be in good shape.
Not to sound like an idiot, what exactly is "birddoggin"?
You would find deals for investors and if they purchase then you would recieve a small fee. Usually a few hundred dollars.
Use the search feature to find topics on this and other intrests you may have. You will have access to a ton of info this way.
I know that Kerrville, Texas is a great hot spot right now. Its the number 1 retirement spot. There is not enuff housing to go around at this time. If you are interested I know of some development projects going on you can invest in. Its still growing, and will probably keep growing for quite sometime.
Number one retirement site for who? - - -people in TX? People in the South? People all over the country?

Number 1 hot spot for preconstruction is SW Florida! Naples average appreciation this past year 86% !!!!!! I sell Preconstruction here and only put my investors in the good stuff. Many more coming on line sooN!
The entire west coast of Florida is a good bet. Naples area is booming, the nature coast of Florida is at the ground level of taking off and will be booming within the next 8 to 12 months.
Not real sure about the east coast of Florida. I deal mostly with the west coast. Most of the east coast is pretty well developed to my knowledge.
