LLC's Must Get Lawyer To File Eviction(?)

I went to eviction court last week and was surprised to learn that LLC's cannot file evictions and must get lawyers. One owner of an LLC said his spiel and then the judge told him he was going to postpone maybe dismiss his case because he did not have a lawyer. I guess he had made some quick agreement with a lawyer in the room and the lawyer got up, recited the exact same spiel and the judge granted the eviction. Is this something new that is spreading or was Ohio behind the times. It worries me because I think the the lawyers are eventually going to take the eviction rights from ordinary landlords like myself operating under our personal names. Any opinions?

Individuals probably always will have the right to go to court pro se.

Business entitites almost always need a lawyer, however, if there is a trend I see, it's toward letting small business entities be represented by a senior officer in smaller court matters (small claims and evictions). Attorneys don't care so much to protect such turf ... fees are minimal, hassle is high in these cases.
