LLC Or S-Corp?
I am looking at purchasing my first investment property and I am trying to figure out which is a better business structure? The majority of properties I purchase will be held for at least 1-2 years as rentals. I am also in MN if that makes any difference.
The legal structure choice is mostly a tax and liability driven decision so which state does not matter.
As to which is the best you need to get professional advice that fits the selection to your situation. You will hear people here who recommend one or the other based on how they view their situation. Some of the logic seems truly based on perception rather then there being one correct answer.
