Listening is a skill that must be mastered in order to become successful as an investor. You must at all times be in the present! One of the unfair forms of listening is simply being there in body but not in mind. Being present in body and mind when listening to your customers will simply improve your ability to make a successful deal, this is not the time to be thinking about another deal, what you did yesterday or even a witty comeback. You must be fair to your customer and have a clear and open mind.
Passively listening is like pretending as a child to hear, and say something quick, something we think they want to hear, just so we can move on.
