Hi I was wondering where I can find a list of foreclosed homes at? I called the banks around here and no one has any. Every site I go to on the net says I have to pay a fee Could someone please help me
maybe this varies by region, I do not know, but here in Atlanta the best way to find REO's is to contact your local, friendly real estate agent, have them do a MLS search for you. Pretty much all REO's are in the MLS now (banks don't want to handle selling them themselves).
I wouldn't pay for a service! Don't do it! It seems like so many of those websites are so out of date also. Create a relationship with a real estate agent, take them out to lunch, offer to list your houses with them, etc. Make it mutually worthwhile.
Good luck,

Right here on TCI. Try this link or click on a foreclosure banner.

if your looking for foreclosed (REO) as opposed to homes in foreclosure.
You can do a serch of properties owned by local backs. So will turn out to be bank branches, bu many are REOs.
Ok thanks for the info. Can I search the net for bank foreclosers> i call the bank they didnt have any im in Mississippi
Im not in the investment business just looking for a home
This is a stupid question what are (REO)
Real Estate Owned.
A property that went thru foreclosure, no one bought it so the lender go ti back.
Moost free sights give you data that's worth what you paid for the service.
In most places the default & foreclosure notices are filed w/ the county recorders office.
