Besides going to the Court house in downtown Chicago is there any service that provides Lis Pendens for Cook County. Thanks for any help with this!

Since Illinois is a Judicial state, you could check with the county court website. Sometimes you might be able to find information that way. If all else fails, just give a call to your local county clerk's office and see what you can come up with.

Used to work for a title Co. - Try Cook Co. Courthouse in Skokie... they record everything there. Old Orchard Blvd. - take Edens (Kenney) North exit Old Orchard - on your right. Never crowded.
