Liability Insurance For LLC And Inc.

Why is that is so difficult to find a Liability Insurance for a home that I'm buying with a partner. He has a LLC and I have a Inc. Is that the reason? We want to have an insurance of Fire and Liability on the house. Any thoughts? :-?

Thanks.

Have you talked with an independent mortgage broker? I've had success with them....

I think Gooseman means "insurance" broker... grin

Find an Agent, preferably that is also a REI, that understands that which you (we) do....

I am facing this same issue.

Working w/ an ind. broker and a captive broker w/ Liberty mutual.

The agent tried to exlain it to me, but it didn't make sense.

So you are in the same situation? Then what is the problem? That they don't want to insure one property under 2 companies. One corp and one LLC???

haha I meant insurance as well.. my bad.

I have an LLC and managed to get Liability and Hazard landlord insurance on 2 properties I recently purchased.

However, its just one LLC, 2 members but one LLC....[ Edited by Goose_man on Date 06/08/2004 ]
