Legal help needed
Hi
We will be buying a lake front lot in another state and we would like to give power of authority to our Mother-in-law to do the closing for us since she lives in that state. How do we do that? The loan is in our names..all we want her to do is sign on our behalf at the closing.
Is there any form that we have to fill in or do we have to contact an attorney to do it?

You could use a Limited Power of Attorney for this transaction only. This would give your mother in law power to sign on your behalf for the closing only and so stipulate this in the Limited Power of Attorney paperwork.
Normally if this is a formal closing the paperwork can be sent to you and you sign in front of a Notary Public, wherever you are. Then return the paperwork to whoever is taking care of the transaction.

i want to start doing real estate investment for that reason i incorporate my company with a partner, at this point my partner and i are not going to do business together for certain reasons. My question is if i should keep the company or disolve it, what will be the best things to do, i know i will have to pay taxes later by the end of the year or by next year, still also my partner is in, do i should take her out?
