Legal 2 Fam Or Not?
im looking at buying a two family thats in foreclosure at a great price. only problem is that it says on the street card that its zoned as a multi fam, but the property only has one meter box. so is this a legal multi fam or no, and would i have any trouble getting it financed like this. i plan on keeping it for a while.
Meter boxes donot indicate zoning, check with your county office. I own a legal triplex with only two electrical meters. I have a buddy who owns a triplex with only one gas meter.
