Sub-lease
i wonder could any body help me with this . My grandmother gave me a house and the land in dumas which was built for my great grand mother by my grand father and both are deceasse now so my cousin stay in the house now but she has not paid rent to me for three years. i pay the insurance and the taxes on it. its hard for me to collect from her becasue i live in michigan so what i plain on doing is L/O to some one down there and let them sub-lease it to ther or some one else. so if she dont pay him he can kick her out. And that will stop me from doing it and having her mad at me :evil:
How much are the payments? Is the house paid for? Is the house nice enough for someone to want to L/O the property?
YEA THE HOUSE IS FREE AND CLEAR ITS JUST 3 TO 4YEARS OLD I'LL I PAY IS THE INSURANCE AND THE TAXES ON IT
There are several ways that you can do this- What do you want to accomplish? How much do you want out of the property? How much rent do you need?

You might have a problem getting your cousin(s) out of the house. In some places, if you stay in someones house 2 or 3 days, you establish residency, and can only be removed by eviction.
