L/O Course
I'm new to REI and had attended a REIA meeting in south, FL about 8 months ago. Guest speaker was Wendy Patton who specializes in L/O deals. Sounded good so I bought her course. Getting ready to get started, but would like to know if anyone has used her stuff. Does her course have all the nuts and bolts or am I missing anything?

I for one have not heard of Ms. Patton, however I just found out who Ron LeGrand was so you can's judge by me.
I know you have asked about this lady before, so how do you feel about her course? The only reason I ask is you already purchased it so I guess from your perspective you hope it is good.

When I purchased her course it was the first time I had heard of the concept and totally on blind faith. It was during a SF REIA meeting and she was the guest speaker. My thought process was, hey - she was invited here by REI professionals... this must be a hot deal!
Ironically, if you now go to the SFREIA website they have links to L/O info but it's from another investor. What does that say? Maybe nothing.
The info that she had in her course seems fairly basic, comprehensive but basic. Not rocket science stuff. Which is fine, I like things to be simple. However, in reading some of the discussions here at TCI, I also realize that there's much more to certain deals then what meets the eye. That's the only reason for my apprehension.
Good bad or indifferent, my wife and I are moving forward. If our first deal doesn't quite pan out we will still keep at it. One way or the other we will figure it out. But I do know that even a small measure of successs at first will pave the way for future drive. Conversely a setback on the first deal because of stupidity wouldn't be the best for us right now.
We don't want to know one out of the park right away, we just want to get on base.
Having said all that, thanks to everyone at TCI who volunteer the great info and encouragement. It's greatly appreciated!
Looking forward to sharing details about our first deal..... hopefully sometime soon.
