Lazy Condo Association!
I have a condo association that is dillegent aobut collecting their association fees but will not make any repairs to the property. Is there anything that we can do to force the association to make needed repairs?
Change the Board - talk to your neighbors who feel like you and run for the Board. Better yet, get several of you to run to get a majority to run it.
The fact that nothingis being done by the association means that not enough money is being collect due to money problems from the other owners or the funds are being used for other things other than maintain, there is more questions than solutions that you know about, how much suppot do the other condo owners give, are there absentee owners renting out their condo and living some place else?
You need more support than you have now for your purpose to get repairs performed, the property manager maybe submitting unrelated expenses, etc.

Thats bullcrap! They have mroe than enough money to cover the needed repairs. There are a lot of renters there, but there is no excuse for the condition in which they allow the properties to come to. We pay all utilites, they never do landscaping or ground work, and all of the units need siding, roofing and or painting. I may just go the sue route.
See my earlier reply - #3. Get on the Board with like mided people and make the improvements. That is the solution to your problem.
