verbal contracts after divorce
I agreed to quick claim my home with the understanding that my exhusband would refinance in a year and remove my name from the loan. It has been almost 3 years and he still has not, and doesn't intend to now. I am now experiencing being turned down for a car loan, personal loan, & credit cards. They say my credits great, I have too much going out and not enough coming in. I have even brought my divorce papers to show them that he has the house, and is soley responsible, but they don't care, my name is on the loan. Because this was a verbal contract, am I swimming up creek without a paddle??
