Great go for it and get rich. I approve highly of the formation of a land trust or any other type of trust for the purpose of holding title. In the great State of Florida I suggest you find (good luck) a properly qualified and experienced Attorney who can supply you with the right forms and the advice as to how to fill them in (in English) and how to record the trust. Then go for it. I wish I had many long years ago. Instead of asking my ex wife for permission to visit my many ex properties I would probably be living in one of them, driving a new Rolls Shooting Break instead of the 1981 VW pickup diesel truck.
We had extensive answers on this problem of the Land Trust way way back on June 12, 2003. I filed an answer as did many others. DerrickAli was in fine form and blasted most of the attorneys then in practice. Several of whom called me in tears, one of them wanted to sue DerrickAli but after discussing the matter we found out DerrickAli was 80% right. The attorney who called me is very good at the Rose V Rose type of matters, but when it comes to real estate he has a problem just removing the mud from his feet. He defined a Land Trust as a form of retaining wall to hold back a hillside.
