Deed And Title Transfer Q's
I am buying a property where the husband is incarcerated and a court order has created a quitclaim deed for his wife to sell the property. Their original deed was a warranty. I would prefer to have a warranty deed obviously. How will this work? Will my/mortgage lawyer create a warranty deed?
Unfortunately, there were no responses to this post, but for anyone interested, this was resolved easily. My mortgage attorney will simply create a warranty deed by referencing both the original warranty deed and the quitclaim deed.
