A Real Quick Question About LLC

I want to set one up today
I know how to go about it
My question is:

Can I just set it up and keep in til I want to use it? [ buying houses]

Any taxes or forms to fill out tax wise if nothing ever went into it?
Thanks!
Lyn

There are no taxes to be paid if there is zero revenue.

But you do have to pay state fees to keep the LLC active in the state it was created in. So for example, in Calif you will have to pay an annual franchise fee (as well as other fees) to keep the LLC.
