Law firm say's they sold property to me illegally

I had the highest bid on a foreclosure at the court house, waited out my 10 day period for an upset bid, and did everything I was supposed to do.
I called the clerk of court and they said the property was mine, the Law firm said it was mine and would send me a letter in 3 days. After not hearing from the law firm, a week later I called again and they told me they sold the house illegally because not everyone received a request for notice and would have to take the house back and auction it again.
I have rebid on the house.
With all the time and effort trying to line up banks, insurance, lawyers, research.etc,do I have any recourses if I don't get the property this time? [ Edited by todd1 on Date 06/20/2003 ]

    Todd:

Not sure what state you are in but generally speaking the 10 day window is for the purpose of allowing folks to raise objections to the sale of the property based on procedural irregularities such as the one you described. You probably have no recourse against any of the parties involved.
