late closings?
I was wondering if any of you other investments consistantly go over your time allotted for closing on eanest money contracts. I'm a 27 year old investor who is relatively new to the housing rehab market (a few years of experience). I find that the title companies seem to push my properties to the bottom of the pile and the effect is that I find myself in a bind for other deals. Presently I am waiting for this closing and risk the possibility of missing out on a duplex I planned to close on a week ago. I have a seller that is flexible, but like me he is becoming impatient.
Is their any action that I can take in this matter? I've been assured by my broker that the deal is a go but I feel like I'm being lied to or just put at the bottom of the list because my property is on the lower end of the pricing totem pole.
Any ideas?
Should I consult my attorney?
Thank you in advance.

I am a newbie real estate investor, and it took me 2 months to close! I am pretty sure it was my mortage broker, who kept extending the closing date.
