Land Contract And Taxes Question
I have a strange question that I hope someone can help me with. I have several properties that got hit with big tax reassesments. I am going to use this as an example. I have one property that I ove about 52K on and the taxes went to 1720 a year. what I want to know is this. If I were to sell the property on a land contract to my company and recorded the land contract. Would the assors office ten go off that amount? The reason I ask is because I was thinking of selling it on land contract for say 25K to my company. if they go off the amount of 25K then my taxes would be effectively reduced. Am I crazy?
