L/O Application B4 Buying?
Hi There
My husband and I know we would like to buy a property, but not sure to rehab, L/O, or rent. We are leaning more towards the L/O. Would it be a good idea to post on a message board a Rent to Own ad just to get a taste of the interest out there in our area. I would just say something like Rent to Own-Please email me what you are interested in payment, option etc... and we will contact you when something is available.What do you guys think?

That's a waste of time, both yours and anyone calling on your ad. If you are considering your exit strategy as lease optioning, there is always a market for it. The key is to buy houses in areas where people want to live (ie not in war zones, idustrial areas, etc.).
Your time would be much better spent finding a local area REIA or similiar organization where you can get together with other investors and learn from them.
