    mjdreal,

    Glad to meet you.

I leave it up to the student how they choose to take title to a property after consulting with their tax advisor or attorney. Everyones situation is different, every state has state specific ways that they recognize forms, I do not believe in one size fits all.

You must treat investing as a business, as such you need a team that you put together where it benefits you the most.

When it comes to assest protection there are many methods a person can choose from to realize the greatest protection. Trusts are only one form and bottom line may not be what you personally need.

Under given circumstances it would take about 10 minutes to find out who is on a trust ask any qualified attorney how long it would take him to find out.
