No worries! If you don't get em this time you will the next. Stay cool, calm, and collected and don't get caught up in negotations that you pay too much.
You make your money when you buy---you simply collect when you sell.
Is it alright to ask him to hand me the keys,? He doesn't live in the house, it's empty. or should I call him every time I show the house one of my buyers.
Well guys, he accepted my offer verbally. he took the contract to read it and take it to his attorney, well I hope this turns out my first deal.
Thanks all
Go to home depot and get a lockbox for $20.00 that way you both have access. Sellers seem to accept this approach better then "Give me the keys! (I'll drive!)"

Honesty is the best policy. While you are sitting there find out his wants & needs and work in yours(the keys)
