Is There A Standard "Referral Fee" I Should Charge?

I am a Broker, but use it only to run my property management business.

Recently, I directed one of my customers to a portfolio of properties that were being offerd for sale by a bank. It appears that my customer is gong to buy this portfolio. My questions are:

1. I told the buyer about these props and supplied him with the contact info for the listing broker, and whatever background info I could offer. Is this enough to claim a referral fee from the seller? If so, how much should I ask for and how do I go about asking for it?

2. I have heard that 25%-30% of the listing broker's commission is pretty standard for this type of deal. Is this accurate. The over total of the sale with be around 9.5 million USD.

Thanks in advance to all
