Maybe people do not understand the question or do not think it is interesting enough.

I for one do not really understand what you are asking or why. Care to clarify (here or a PM)?

No SOL on that stuff. Just dispute it as not yours. Especially any addresses at which you had financial troubles.

nevr heard of SOL, but if you dispute the infoand it can't very verified, it must be removed.

If it was something that had paper trail such as a purchase or sale, then it will be verifiable.

Also, when doing a CRA dispute area you swearing to the true of the dispute?

None of that stuff matters for personal info. Just call CRA's and say "I checked my credit report and I found a bunch of old contact info that's not mine. I've lived here for as long as I can remember." Then list the old addys, phone numbers, etc. and they'll just erase them. It's that simple.

Make sure the report your looking at is directly from the CRA. (Order your TU report from TU, your EQ from EQ, etc.) Otherwise, that info will be incomplete. For EXP, order it directly from EXP online, then follow the links to dispute online. It is on this dispute page that you will find the most complete list of old addresses, etc that they have on file.

SOL only refers to the length of time a creditor has to sue you in order to recover monies. That doesn't apply here. There is also a timeframe in which negative information must be removed, but personal info is neutral, and therefore not affected. You must dispute it. However, they don't care, and they'll take it right off. If for any reason you have an issue doing this, just thank the CSR, hang up and call back and talk to another one. They'll remove it.
