Investigating Pre-Construction Selling?

I am trying to decide if this is a viable investment strategy. Does anyone have any ideas on how best to research this strategy?

Any ideas, tips or experiences would be appreciated.

Thanks,

JS.

I called all the builders in my area that plan to build communities/developments and asked them about there pre-con policy. I am from New Jersey and pre-con is not an option for me unless I plan to use it for my primary residence.

    Hey Joel:

Erin called me last week too.

She offered Other CITY/ STATES that are of interest to the show...being:

    SACRAMENTO, CA

    LAS VEGAS, NV

    ORLANDO, FL

    and

    BALTIMORE, MD

Additional info... The Show PAYS $6K To the Investor Selected to Appear.

Other Requirements are the Investor must Not Have Previously Done More than 3 FIXERS.

    I hope this helps!

Think about why they only want people who have done less than 3 deals....

    mosbyone,
I would contact them to see if they are interested. With articles of Charlottesville,Va being one of the best places to live in the country, I would bet they would consider that location.
If I were you, I would gather the articles that have been written about the area, some college, employment and housing data, and a map showing the good highways/location distance from Richmond(capital), the DC sprawl now down 29 to Culpeper.
I actually have a tenant in Lake of the Woods,Va who moved here from NC to work in DC/NoVA (nasty commute) and changed his employment to Charlottesville (nicer commute) and is looking to buy there. The transplants continue.

What are the hot spots for investors in the Cincinnati area? Are there any pre-construction opportunities in or around cincinnati?

    Thanks,

    Nate
