Interest Paid On Tax Liens

How do I find interest paid on Michigan or any states Tax liens? Do all states have online sites that would lead me in the right direction.

Not all states have tax liens. I believe Michigan is a tax deed state. If you search the state laws you will find out what the maximum rate is.

Typically adverse possession requires that the property be vacant for 15-20 years.

While this is a creative tool, very very rarely do real adverse possession deals exist.

    Good luck, Dave

In California the Adverse Possession period is 5 years. In 2003 there were 520 lawsuits for Adverse Possession and 23 were successful. I am batting 7 for 7 myself, but I am very carefull. Still, I have started over 20 that did not work out. If it was easy then EVERYBODY would be doing it. Good Luck!!

    Hi Cyberclone,

In the 20 that did not work out, have you ever been arrested for trespassing ?
