Initialing Agreements When Wholesaling?
I know that if I am going to flip a property to an investor without it going in my name, that I need to sign it as "John Doe and/or assignee." But what about where I have to initial each page. Am I still safe doing that and still able to assign the property?
Ever thought of a land trust? Derrick Ali is the expert there.

Sign what? The offer to purchase (the contract)?
Why wouldn't you just sign it under your own name?
The contract says MyName and/or my assigns. That means that either you or some person to whom you assign the contract will be buying. When you assign, you'll have a "Notice of Assign" or "Memo of Assign".

When you assign a contract and the investor backs out does the contract end with the sellers because you assigned your rights over? This happened to me and the attorney told me I had no case to keep the sellers in contract. I live in Ca.
