Can anyone recommend a web site which deals with demographics and/or forecasts in future real estate trends. I'd like to get a better idea of what type of residential and/or commercial properties promises to be the best investments in the future based on demographic studies, trends and predictions and such . Thank you .
There are a lot of them out there, but none that would do all of what you wanted. For everything you have described you will need to rely on a couple of sources. Anything that comes out quarterly or less would be good. Commercial alone for Florida there are several, the best ones will cost you several hundred dollars per year.
If you just wanrt general info on commercial, TCI trends are pretty good.

I've noticed that some of the web sites for individual counties have a lot of the type of information you're seeking. The quality and quantity varies all over the place -- many have nothing -- but others have a wealth of info. This is particularly true of your wealthier and larger counties. Some even have Economic Development Administrations that are set up to sell the county as a business location, and they have a lot of good statistical and demographic info, including trends. Like I say, it varies quite a bit from county to county, but it's certainly worth checking in those counties you might be considering doing business.
