How would you go about investigating or doing more research on a potential business associate/ business offering services?

    Talk to customers. Make sure they are not friends or associates. Do a credit check. Call better business bureau. See what associations they may belong too and check their standings. Hire private investigator. I am sure there are other ways. These are just a few I thought of at 4:30 this AM
