Suppose someone has school loans, some were deferred, some were default.
If you told the creditors that you were consolidating all of them, can they take that in consideration and redo your credit score?
No they won't "redo" your credit score. The only thing that will increase your score is good payment history and time. By consolidating the loans, the original lenders will show that the accounts have been paid which should improve your score some. Timely payments on your consolidation loan will increase your score as well.
