How To Get Around SLOW Small-town Court System?
Would greatly appreciate ANY advice on this situation.
We have a 12-unit in Missouri- lake of ozarks area. Their small town court there takes FOREVER to issue summons, court dates etc. on tenant evictions. (My lawyer there said it is because their employees are having trouble converting from paper to the new computer systems they installed over 6 months ago. SCARY) It is costing me 1-2 months extra time. But, in Springfield, just an hour away, the courts there are much faster and on the ball. Do I have to process the evictions in small town hell, or can I do it in another city????? HELP!!!
You have to process in whichever court has jurisdiction over the area
