How Does One Purchase A SUNDRY MISCELLANEOUS Lien?

I have recently come upon a property in NYC that has a sundry miscellaneous lein (I assume it is a judgement lien) on it. I would like to purchase the lien or, at least, find out how to purchase the property.
Any thoughts on how to purchase either?[ Edited by Gfandrei on Date 01/18/2005 ]

Never assume, you need to view the document it self. This is a multi purpose filing form in NYC.

If it is being used as a lien, the lien holders contact information should be in the text of the document.

Good point on the assumption. I have viewed the document and found out that it is a lien based monies owed for services rendered (non-property related). Can I buy the lien from the issuer or is it better to go straight to the property owner?

Yes you can buy the lien, if the holder is willing to sell of course.

I am going to take a wild guess and say that you want the property, why not approach the homeowner first.
