How do you handle a mortgage company that requires that you have a active listing while doing a shortsale.
I am in the process of a short sale but there is a kink that i have never encountered. The mortgage company says one of the requirements of the short sale is that the homeowners need to have the property listed. How am I suppose to get action if the mortgage company wants the couple to market
the property actively.
Here is a self-serving response.... that could be mutually beneficial... I list properties in need of short sales for Sellers with brokers across the USA... if your property qualifies for a short... I'll make sure it's listed in compliance with applicable short sale criteria... via a (local to you) real estate broker and facilitate the short, acting as a liaison between You, the Seller, and the mortgagee(s).
