How Do I Track My Sequenced Letter Campaign?

Hello, all - I just start a sequenced pre-foreclousre letter campaign and am wondering what kind of software would be good to use to track the different letters that I'm sending out. Any insight would be appreciated. 8-)

Unless you've found hundreds of homes in preforeclosure, I think a spreadsheet would work fine.

If you have a lot of people to send the letter to (hundreds at once), then you'd probably want some task-specific software.

    Tri-fam,

I have used MS Access, MS Excel, and Outlook at times to track mailing lists and sequences. I know some people who do just fine with just a manila folder system at first.

I'd say to go with whatever fits your style and seems most user-friendly for you.

I know there are a lot of software packages out there designed for tracking direct mail campaigns. Unfortunately, I can't recommend one specifically.

If you have time and have some tech savvy, you can customize MS Access to do a lot. You could also go to http://www.elance.com to find a freelance data base programmer to design one for you.

It might cost a few hundred dollars, but it would save you a lot of time. Good luck.

    Jason
