How Do I Start Bird Dogging?
Howdy! I am a loan officer in Austin, TX and I would like to be a Bird Dog as well. I have been told I have a real knack for finding great deals--- how do I go about getting started? Some of the ads in the paper sound a little too good to be true. How do I find a good investor to work for?

I think your best bet would be to start networking. I would find out where your local rei club meets and go there and make some contacts. let them know who you are and what you would like to do and then see if they would be interested in you giving them a call when you find something. find out what they are looking for,sfr, multiunits, commercial, and then start looking for what they want. make sure to do some very good homework when you do find a deal so they know your a good little bird dog whom they can trust and do future buisness with. good luck.
