Thanks for your help. Recieved the list in my county now trying to figure out step two.
It's my 1st time and with all the research I'm doing it doesn't seem like I am getting anywhere.
Any advise you have I would greatly apprieciate.
Nina
Just my thoughts:
Get the listing for the sale. Do research. Register for the auction (which may require a deposit). Go to the auction. Bid on whatever you were interested in.
Anyone know of online auctions? Recently more counties have been going to an online method but finding sites is a pain.
A few useful websites:

No Tennessee I see :-x ... I might have known.
Would it be worth driving to Alabama or Kentucky?
Thanks,

Hey!
What about Texas? Texas is one of the best states to invest in tax liens because of our lenient laws. Check out some of the works by Darius M. Barazandeh.[ Edited by shephia on Date 02/07/2005 ]
So the The 16% Solution as mentioned by Robert T. Kiyosaki is not up to date eh? What do you earn most the time? Is John Becks kit worth buying? I will look into getting "Profit by Investing in Real Estate Tax Liens" BTW thanks for the book lead Taxivestor!
