How Do I Find Free Recent Comparable Sales Online?
It seems like this would be public record. Homegain and yahoo used to do it but stopped. Are there any other quick and easy sources other than calling a title company? I am specifically interested in Portland, Oregon.
You can find a real estate agent in your area that's willing to provide you with comps. Some that I know charge a fee, but you'll find one that will waive the fee.

Nice to meet you Nancy,
Out of curiosity, why can't you post the URL's right here on the board so everyone can see what you got. In my opinion, this will serve the overall purpose better.
What about comporable sales for commercial properties? are there any sources that are free? I am still in school and I need to find some info on this for my development class. Any help is appreciated, thanky you
If you are working with a realtor ask them to set you up on listing book. You can search the mls, and lookup comps( the same ones the realtor uses)
