How Do I Find Free Recent Comparable Sales Online?

It seems like this would be public record. Homegain and yahoo used to do it but stopped. Are there any other quick and easy sources other than calling a title company? I am specifically interested in Portland, Oregon.

You can find a real estate agent in your area that's willing to provide you with comps. Some that I know charge a fee, but you'll find one that will waive the fee.

I have found www.domania.com to have free accurate sales comps in any area. Good luck.

There are many property databases--national, multi-state and state. PM me and I'll give you the URL's.

    Nice to meet you Nancy,

Out of curiosity, why can't you post the URL's right here on the board so everyone can see what you got. In my opinion, this will serve the overall purpose better.

If you are working with a realtor ask them to set you up on listing book. You can search the mls, and lookup comps( the same ones the realtor uses)
