How Can I Prevent A Sale?

I am in Florida
I was partners with a guy in buying vacant lots. I putup some f the funds, did all the research, found the lots, prepared the deeds and contracts, etc.
He negotiated the deals, put up most of the cash, visited the lots.
I found out a few months ago that he had been changing the buyer name from the partnership company to his private corp. We had a discussion, agreed to dissolve the partnership, sell the lots and split the profits. A few weeks later he called to say the lots were not selling.
Now I chek county records and found out he sold someof the lots. I plan to take legal action but want to know if there are any documents I can file in the meantime to precent him from selling anymore of the lots while the suit gets underway.
Thanks

Ouch, at this point I would certainly contact a lawyer right away, did you guys have a written agreement or anything?

The easiest way to prevent a sale is to cloud the title. In other words, state your claim to the property.

A good attorney could advise you whether it should be in the form of a Lis Pendens, a lein, or?
