How Can I Hold Title

I have an opportunity to own a home. The new home is soon to be built. It's zero down ,contractor financed and I will have equity on closing. My problem is I have a child support arrearage. Which is a story in it's self and irrellavent exept that it's their.
The contractor is afraid to put it in my name because he doesn't want the title clouded if he sells the T.D.
The equity is not enough to clear the arrearage.
Can I form a company/business or 2 that will protect the property.
I'm not trying to ditch anything, The debt is on my son, 22 years old. And could qualify as a laches case. If I could get some equity built up to offer a settlement, I would.
This is the only blemiish on a AAAA credit report.
I have a Real Estate back ground and I enjoy law. So any suggestions would be welcomed. confused

You should seek legal advice ASAP, in the state of Illinois, you can be detained, jailed, and have your wages garnished for non-compliance to child support. Here is our suggestion; If you have the outstanding credit, obtain a loan to pay off the support issue. With this approach, you can move on and enjoy your home without any murky nonsense and your builder will feel comfortable.
