It seems like a lot of houses I get are missing a couple of drawer fronts in the kitchen or bath areas. What do you guys do to make it look decent that is quick and easy?
Paul
Look around on the cabinets. Look inside the sink base-sides of the drawer boxes, to see if the cabinet manufacturers name is stenciled on them somewhere. If you can determine the cabinet manufacturer you can email them to try to find out if new fronts can be ordered. If not, then fronts are usually not nearly as elaborate as doors. You can try to match it to some from the local home centers. If all else fails, buy some hardwood stock and make one yourself. Stain or paint it to match the others. You may have to use a router to route the edges, but this isn't hard to do. Even if it isn't exactly the same as the others, chances are, you can make it look pretty good. Anything, will look better than no front!
replace the drawer f ronts. Usually not too expensive and pretty easy.
