    That’s exactly what I thought with the second opinion. The next store neighbor is also in foreclosure so hopefully will be able to purchase that property also.

    I ran across a similar problem. Only the REO I was going to make an offer on had Railroad land going down the middle. The neighbor bought some land from the RR so a corner was on the neighbors land. The buyer can rent the place but can not sell. The house is over 60 years old so the courts will not make them move or demolition. Good luck to you. Please post your outcome with this.

    what about adverse possesion. check the chain of title. if the property was not used by the next neighbor for 10 years then you may have a claim.
