Help?
I am very interested in getting into real estate investing, I do not know what to do or where to start. I would like to also get into a home for myself. I think I have found a good prospect, and don't know whether to refer it to someone or can do something myself. I have a house forsale by owner on my street. It is a three-four bedroom, one bath with yard and small garage. The owners have said they are asking $139,000. They say they have a HUD assumable loan (one of the ones that have to be approved or ok'd). They say the existing loan is for $129,000 with current payments around $930.00 a month. The owner is a childrens minister and are already getting another house, so soon this one will be sitting empty. I just feel like this would be good for somebody, but wouldn't mind living in it myself. I don't know what to do, can anyone give any ideas?
