HELP

I am getting excited but at the same time I am nervous as I don't know what. I was wondering if I am going about this the right way.

An agent sent me some comps on houses. I went through them and saw some I thought were interesting <am I doing this much right, by having an agent send me stuff, or just look on my own> My other question is what do I do next? How do I approach the agent?

I am so excited because I have been trying to do this for years and never made it this far <IMG SRC="images/forum/smilies/icon_eek.gif"> [ Edited by katrina on Date 01/17/2004 ]

If the numbers are right on the ones you're interested in, and you've got your financing lined up, make an offer.

Being pre qualified is a must for sure these days either a conventional lender or a hard money lender. Also contact the agent and let them know you are new and a bit afraid and nervous and ask for some special hand holding and understanding. I kind of get flustrated when people ask stupid questions but then I remember when I knew nothing and was wet under the ears too. Letting the Realtor or buyer may show weakness but I think it better to let them know where you are coming from. Let them know your goals too and how motivated you are. I want to see you buy something great in the next two weeks. Set a goal and work toward it and you will achieve it.

    Good LUCK and Thank You
    Hope this helps some

well, I don't think questions are stupid. If you don't ask you will never know. that might be more stupid.

thanks for your help again Tedjr
