Help With Landscaping Advice

Just about finished on my largest rehab. This is a 3500sq ft colonial built in 1931. 3.5baths, 5bdrms, office, 2 fireplaces. 3 stories of living space.

Everything was redone, granite in kitchen, refinished all wood floors, wide plank oak on first level. Removed old aluminium siding and replaced with fresh vinyl.

Now the property is set back from the street and sits on almost 1 acre of land. There are mature/overgrown plantings all over, including some berry bush along both sides of the long winding drive way up to the house.

What is appealing to buyers, everything cut back for clean look, or the woodsy type of look. We are getting ready to list and I am not sure?

There is a new subdivision next door w/ homes built in 2002. Those are all on 1/3 acre lots and are contemporary colonials. They all have small plantings but are closer to the street, they look like new homes.

Those newer homes are in the 2500sq ft range 4bedroom/2.5baths and are listed for $950k.
