Help Please

Hello,
I just started bird-dogging last week and I came across a multi-unit in the SoCal(san diego) area that I believe is a very good deal. I posted in another forum but didn't get any response. Can someone please give me some advice on how to go about finding someone that maybe interested. Which forum do I post and etc.? Also what information do I give the investor before I get the contract signed about my bird-dogging fee? One person that I did talk to wanted the address and owners phone number then after he looked at the property and if he decided he liked it then he would sign a contract?? That just doesn't sound right to me. I have also read different opinions on what the fee should be, is there a standard? If so do the standards apply to multi-units also as they are alot more expensive here in San Diego especially by the beach. I would assume the % would be lower? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Patricia

Try posting it in the TCI REalty section on this website.

It seems to me that fees should be established beforehand, too

Your post for selling the property should be in TCI realty. Your bird dog contract can be found in the Bird dog forum. And your fee is dependant on the work that you put into it. For instance I have had bird dogs that get 1-2% of buy price and others that make 5% of my sell price because they had it sold for me before I bought it. I have also done a 50/50 split on rehabs when they sell it for me as well.

    Good Luck,
    Kyle
