Help!I Paid Off Bills, Now What?

Hello,
I haven't posted in a while. We are using my hubbies credit to get a home in California. We were sincerely hoping to get an interest only loan so that we can get a bit more money for a home. We need about $225,000 or so for a decent California home in Riverside. Hubby's score is about 570. It's 531, 572, and 591. We had about 8 or nine things on his credit. 3 of them were paid years ago but never taken off.

So now we have letters for 5 items. 3 paid and two paid and they said they'd delete. Where do I go from there? How do I get it so show up on the report? How long will this take? We are really wanting a home with in a few months, sooner the better. I had hoped our score would have been bumped up to 620 by now. We will pay off the three remaining items that is only about 500 bucks total.

Is it even possible to get it up that quickly? We are desperate to get the ball rolling on this. I am due with our third child in July and prayed we'd be in a home by then. Any help appreciated! Blessings, Alida rolleyes

Dispute all negative entries with all 3 CRAs as "not mine" ... see what falls off on its own. Then attack the others with various other tactics.

You should send a copy to all three bureaus and ask them to investigate why they weren't removed. If you really want to buy a home. Buy it with whatever you can get and work on everything while you are paying your mortgage on time. then refinance to an interest only loan. Your credit will go up much faster with a mortgage being paid on time.

with your scores you can currently buy though the loan will not be pretty!.. with current rates of equity building in so cal and lack of available properties just get in NOW! ...There are plenty of "creative" lenders out there if you need one i'll give you the name of mine. email me at **Please See My Profile**
