Has Anyone Heard Of Jeff Kaller?

I saw an ad in the Charlotte Observer advertising a free Short-Sale presentation. (9 AM to 4 PM)

Is this any good? What is he selling?

I am new to the forum and replied about another guru...now I see that someone who had negative things to post that he found on the net does the same job on this guy. I have NO IDEA who Jeff K is and have no comment bit if the folks who are professional wizards of doom spent more time on deals and less finger pointing, more would be accomplished.

Something posted on the net is not proof of anything and I can find someone to complain about anyone.

I am going back to work

I see this is your second post. For years we have a newbie come by and recommend so and so as the greatest. Then a second newbies suspiciously comes along and gives glowing recommendations. Finally, after the regulars on this board expose the new guru as a scam artist, a third newbie such as yourself (2 posts) questions our motives.

We raise questions to assist the many visitors who are unfamiliar with this old and tired tactic of promotion.

    Hi,

First I want to say I am new on this board and I am NOT recommending anyone. I will only want to express my opinion on attending free 1 day seminars. I hope no one is offended!

The way I see it, If you have a free day go ahead and attend the seminar. Go with an open mind, take a lot of notes, and try to learn something new. You can network and meet other investors and perhaps develop some new business. As someone else recommended, leave your credit cards at home so you wont be tempted. Take $50 bucks for lunch and a cold beer. Who knows, you may even meet a young lady investor.

    GOOD DEAL$ TO ALL!

    victoria-

do you purchase the short sales yourself and then flip them or rent them? do you have any bamks that you consider easier to work with then others. Are REO anything to look at? How do you find your "leads" one of the forclosure listings? have you every found one that was deemed fraud? I had heard that they said stating your income higher then what it actually is can get some people in trouble when forclosures happen. Have you had that? I know it is a lot of questions, but you seem to do it full time, and i was considering getting into it
