Grant Deed
I purchased a home for $165,00 which a land deal was part of it valued at $5,000 plus $160,000-The grant deed for the land was notarized over to the seller but I am still receiving tax bills and weed embankment charges from the county of riverside,ca. I paid the first tax bill since it is still registered in my wifes and my name and the weed embankment charge. I have no way of contacting this man,he has no phone or address,he moved I think to Ohio,which he told me he may do. I was told by the county, we are still responsible for the charges or they will take the property back,how do I get back the property or be able to re-sell it,since the man has never registered or entered it into his name and we are still legally responsible for debts to that property? contact **Please See My Profile** thank you inquiry on grant deed to land[ Edited by fjgonzales on Date 01/20/2004 ]
