i would say scrap the whole meeting with him. call up about ten agents and tell them your criteria and make damn sure you can fund these deals. if they know you can close the deal very quickly and easily they are going to be calling you first rather then the other list of investors they have. i would rather have 10 agents looking for me then one.

if there any good they will probably buy the house themselves.

    good luck.

make sure the agents can do more than just emailing you a listing.

Welcome and good luck, there are a lot of good advice on this site. I reccomend reading and utilizing the telephone as often as you can.

"Property ladder" on TCL is motivating. I have seen every episode and so far everyone has gone over budget. But they still made money. I figure these episodes were filmed a year ago when CA market soared (most of these flips have been in CA). So these investors that are profiled on TLC would have made money even if they didnt rehab and just held the properties for a few months. Just something to keep in mind. The market has slowed some since then

Welcome , just to let you know in my opinion this is the best site out there when it comes to REI.

I seen Property Ladder for the 1st time the other night and its very educational. Just like the other Rehabbing shows.... FYI it wont take you years to be answering questions on the site unless it take you years to post...like the saying goes you learn something new everdya its what you do with it....if thats not the way it goes well that will work for me..

    good luck
